Does Gi color matter?
Some of the guys at my gym have blue and black Gis, does that symbolize anything?

For general training, not that i am aware of. For BJJ competitions. You can only have white, blue, or black. Some might not allow for black.
There are other gi requirements for competitions which you can look up on the IBJJF website.
Might also depend on the school/academy you train with too. So just check with them.
