That’s my pep talk if you’re questioning whether or not to start training BJJ because you want a good workout. What I must add though is that while BJJ can be a very challenging, it doesn’t necessarily provide a balanced workout in the long term. You can develop certain muscle imbalances and posture problems if you train too much BJJ without also doing other activities to round it out, such as lifting weights, swimming, yoga, etc.
