promotion seminar
My academy has a “graduation seminar” every year.
I am about 99% sure I’m going to be promoted to a blue belt.
Do I have to attend this seminar? I can’t because it is one hundred fifty dollars, and I can’t justify spending that right now.
A week or so before the seminar, there’s a “belt prep” class. I should be able to go to that.
If I have to go to the seminar and pay $150 in order to get promoted, I’ll do it. But I’m just not sure how all this works.
I think that you never have to pay for your promotion. If you should get your belt, you will get it now or later. But if in your academy no one can promote you, this may be a problem. But if you can wait, that is not a problem, you will get it finally.
